FACILITATING YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE

As a citizen, you have the right to vote. This right has been secured for you by the blood and sweat of others. As a voter, you need to make the time and have the inclination to get out to the polls. Only you can make this happen. Nobody can make you vote. As a voter seeking to make an informed decision however, you need information; information about the candidates and where they stand on the issues that affect your life.

THIS IS WHERE I COME IN.

Update on Enrique's Election Coverage

There are only 19 days left before the February 2 Primary Election. I hope that you will take this very important opportunity to exercise one of your most basic rights as a citizen.

In order to Facilitate Your Right to Vote, I am bringing you both a series of questionnaires from various candidates running in jurisdictions in and around the Central Area of Chicago, as well as a very special forum/political information exchange to be held on Saturday, January 30 at the Hotel Blake where you can meet the various candidates and find out where they stand on the issues.

The questionnaires should be ready shortly and a flyer for the forum is posted below that you can print and distribute. I should have more information and a list/schedule of the candidates confirmed for the January 30 forum very soon.

If you have any questions, please email me at perezeg@aol.com. I look forward to seeing you at the Hotel Blake.

P.S. I am still looking for event volunteers. Email me if you would be interested.
